Welcome to Blue Gemini Massage. By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before scheduling a session. These terms are designed to protect both you as a client and Blue Gemini Massage as a service provider.

1. Services

Blue Gemini Massage provides professional massage therapy services by a licensed massage therapist in the State of Utah. All services are therapeutic in nature. Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. Clients are encouraged to consult their physician regarding any medical conditions before receiving massage therapy.

Blue Gemini Massage reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to any client at any time for any reason, including but not limited to health contraindications, inappropriate behavior, or failure to comply with these Terms.

2. Appointments & Booking

All appointments are booked through MassageBook, our HIPAA-compliant scheduling platform. By booking an appointment, you agree to provide accurate health and contact information. Appointments are confirmed upon receipt of booking confirmation via email or text.

• Clients are encouraged to arrive 5–10 minutes before their scheduled appointment.
• Late arrivals may result in a shortened session at the full scheduled rate.
• Blue Gemini Massage reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to therapist illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Card Requirement for Online Booking: A valid debit or credit card is required at the time of online booking to secure your appointment time slot. Your card will not be charged at the time of booking. It will only be charged in the event of a late cancellation or no-show that falls within our 24-hour cancellation policy window (see Section 3). By completing your online booking, you authorize Blue Gemini Massage to apply the applicable cancellation or no-show fee to the card on file if those conditions are triggered.

3. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

We understand that life happens. We ask for your respect of our time with the following policy:

• 24-Hour Notice: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will not be charged.
• Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost, charged to the card on file.
• No-Shows: Clients who do not show up for their appointment without notice may be charged up to 100% of the service cost to the card on file and may be required to prepay for future bookings.
• House Call Cancellations: Due to the nature of mobile services, house call cancellations require a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Late cancellations for house calls may incur a travel fee in addition to the cancellation fee.

4. Payment

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept credit cards and debit cards processed securely through MassageBook Pay, powered by Stripe — a PCI Service Provider Level 1 certified payment processor, the highest certification level available in the payments industry. Prices are subject to change without notice. Current pricing is listed on our website and within MassageBook.

• Blue Gemini Massage does not store, view, or have access to your raw card number, CVV, or billing details. All payment data is encrypted and tokenized by Stripe.
• Gratuity is not included in service pricing and is always appreciated but never required.
• Gift certificates are non-refundable and may not be exchanged for cash.
• All sales are final. Refunds are not issued for completed services.

5. Health Intake & Contraindications

All new clients are required to complete a health intake form prior to their first session. It is the client's responsibility to disclose all relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies, and areas of concern. Blue Gemini Massage reserves the right to modify or decline a service based on health contraindications.

Massage therapy is contraindicated for certain conditions including but not limited to: fever, contagious illness, open wounds, blood clots, or recent surgery. Clients who arrive with a contraindicated condition may have their session rescheduled without penalty.

6. Referrals to Other Massage Therapy Specialists

Blue Gemini Massage operates on a primary massage therapist model — similar to the way a primary care physician manages your overall health and refers you to specialists when needed. Alexia serves as your first point of contact for your massage therapy and wellness journey.

Alexia specializes in relaxation massage, mindfulness-based techniques, and general pain relief. Because she genuinely cares about your results and your overall wellness experience, if she believes your needs would be better served by a different modality or a higher level of specialized care, she may refer you to a trusted wellness professional. This referral is always made in your best interest and in alignment with the promise of Blue Gemini — helping you discover the gem within.

Specialists Alexia may refer you to include:

• Sports Massage Specialists — for athletic recovery, performance, and injury-related muscular work.
• Energy Work Specialists — for modalities such as Reiki and other energy-based healing practices.

No personal health information or SOAP notes will ever be shared with a referred specialist without your explicit written consent. Any such transfer will be conducted in full compliance with HIPAA regulations and Utah state law, and will require your written authorization prior to release.

7. Professional Boundaries & Code of Conduct

Blue Gemini Massage provides strictly professional, therapeutic massage services. Any request for sexual or inappropriate services will result in immediate termination of the session. The client will be charged the full session rate and may be permanently banned from future bookings. Such incidents may be reported to law enforcement.

Clients are expected to treat the therapist with respect and professionalism at all times. Abusive, threatening, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.

8. House Call Services

House call services are available on Mondays and Tuesdays from 12:30–7:30 PM within the Tooele area. By booking a house call, you agree to:

• Provide a safe, clean, and accessible space for the massage table and equipment.
• Ensure that pets are secured and that the environment is free from hazards.
• Be present and ready at the scheduled appointment time.
• Acknowledge that a travel fee may apply depending on location.

Blue Gemini Massage reserves the right to decline or leave a house call appointment if the environment is deemed unsafe or unsuitable.

9. Draping & Client Comfort

Proper draping is maintained at all times during all sessions in compliance with Utah state massage therapy licensing standards. Clients will only be undraped in the area being worked on. You have the right to request additional draping, stop the session, or request modifications at any time. Your comfort and safety are our top priority.

10. Liability Waiver

By booking a session with Blue Gemini Massage, you acknowledge that massage therapy involves physical touch and that, while rare, soreness or discomfort may occur following a session. Blue Gemini Massage is not liable for any injury, illness, or adverse reaction resulting from services rendered, provided that the client has accurately disclosed all relevant health information.

For house call services, Blue Gemini Massage is not responsible for any damage to property at the client's location.

11. Minors

Clients under the age of 18 must have written consent from a parent or legal guardian prior to receiving services. A parent or legal guardian must be present during the session for clients under the age of 16.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and service descriptions, is the property of Blue Gemini Massage and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of our services shall be resolved in the courts of Tooele County, Utah.

14. Changes to These Terms

Blue Gemini Massage reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
